Kent County Council (KCC) would like to invite organisations who are interested in delivering an integrated domestic abuse service across the county of Kent to participate in a Market Engagement Exercise. The aim of the event is to explore the proposed model for future service delivery, which is expected to provide holistic support, and will include crisis interventions such as refuge services, as well as a strengthened community response, preventative and educational elements. Providers will also have the opportunity to discuss their ideas, thoughts and suggestions directly with commissioners, and network with other suppliers in the sector with a view to forming effective delivery partnerships. All of Kent County Council contract opportunities are managed through the council's free e-tendering system Kent Business Portal at www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk.The event will cover the following topics; - Current service delivery - What we anticipate changing to, and why - Proposed contractual models - Tendering tips - An opportunity to discuss and ask questions Potential service providers are invited to attend an all-day Market Engagement Event to be held on: Friday 9 September 2016 in the Maidstone Area.
