Tender description

NHS West Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group (WN CCG) intends to commission Care Home Providers, registered for residential care that will work with the CCG and the wider Intermediate Care Team to provide 15 intermediate residential care beds for individuals who require 24 hour supervision during their rehabilitation and reablement programme. Located in King's Lynn, across 2 sites, they will be part of the wider Intermediate Care Service that strives to deliver a service that is Service User focused and delivers on prevention of admission to hospital based care, clinical effectiveness, outcomes and supports independence of the individual. No expressions of interest are sought from the publication of this advisory notice. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise the marketplace of Commissioners' intention to approach local providers and undertake a competitive Request for Information/ Proposal process, in accordance with the NHS Standard Financial Instructions guidance and guiding principles for public procurement of transparency, equal treatment and proportionality. No expressions of interest are sought from the publication of this advisory notice and there will be no publication of a Contract Notice for this requirement.
