Tender description

Staffordshire County Council, working with East Staffordshire Borough Council, invites tenders for the provision of Waste Transfer Station Facilities and Associated Services. The provision of a Transfer Facility to receive and accept from East Staffordshire Borough Council the following types of Contract Waste: — Kerbside collected Household Waste; — Fly Tipped Waste; — Trade Waste; — Bulky Waste; — Street Cleaning Residues; — Precinct Sweepings and Litter; — Dry Mixed Commingled Recycling; — Source Separated Paper. The provision for storage and segregation of the Contract Waste streams being: — EfW Waste; — Landfill Waste; — Street Cleaning Residues; — Recycling. The contract will also include: — The provision for bulking and transfer of each Contract Waste streams to Treatment Facilities identified in the Specification; — The provision to record and report all Contract Waste delivered, stored and transferred to Treatment Facilities.
