Tender description

Scottish Borders Council would like to invite you to participate in its residual waste procurement soft market test. The Council is currently planning its procurement strategy, and would like to engage with potential suppliers at this early stage in order to ensure that the procurement is designed in a way that it is attractive to the market. We would be grateful if you could take the time to respond to the attached questionnaire and provide sufficient supporting detail to give a greater understanding of how the market may respond to the different possible ways in which the Council could design the tender. The questionnaire seeks to understand how the potential market response may be affected by different choices in the areas of: — contract tonnage and duration; — lot structure; — pre-treatment technologies; and — haulage provision.
