Legal Services for the Disposal of Smallholdings Estate

Herefordshire Council wishes to dispose of its Smallholding Estate and it’s expected that this will be sold via a structured sale process. It is intended that the whole estate will be sold with the exception of any land which has future development potential and mineral rights reserved. The Council has recently appointed selling agents who are in the course of deciding a structure and format for the disposal. The purpose of this procurement is to commission a law firm to support the disposal of the estate. The key areas of work to be undertaken include; 1. Consideration of the title documents and thereafter production of a report to be prepared in anticipation of the Councils disposal of the Estate. 2. Support and liaise with the Councils selling agents in compiling sales particulars and legal packs. 3. Following receipt of successful bids, attending to all steps leading up to completion and certain post completion matters.
