Tender description

Aintree Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hopsitals NHS Trust and Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are calling for suitably experienced and qualified service providers who wish to participate in procurement for the provision of 6 Renal Dialysis Satellite Units located in the Cheshire and Merseyside Region. 5 of the renal dialysis units are based currently provided by a private provider under the independent sector Procurement of NHS England which expires in March 2017. The other is provided by a private provider on a separate contract held directly with Aintree Hospital. The Renal satellite units are based at Aintree, Southport, Wirral, St Helens, Warrington and Halton each satellite is a 12 station unit. The Provider will need to be able to offer a Fully Managed Service or a Managed Equipment Service which excludes staff. Interested Providers should note that the Trusts are following an open procurement procedure which will be divided into lots. The contract will commence for a period of 7 years with an option to extend for a further 3 years at 12 month intervals.
