Tender description

Portsmouth City Council (‘the Employer’) has awarded a multi-supplier framework agreement for the delivery of general building works projects. Works to be delivered via the agreement shall include but not be limited to delivery of: Low to medium rise traditionally constructed domestic and commercial extensions, installation of kitchens and bathrooms, window and door replacement, school classroom refurbishment, floor covering work, fascia and guttering repairs, external landscaping and associated mechanical and electrical installation work. The Employer has established the framework concurrently with the letting of a contract for strip out and conversion of an existing office into 2 No residential units at Hilsea Lodge. The framework agreement will be in place for a maximum term of 4 years. Portsmouth City Council (‘the Employer’) has awarded a multi-supplier Framework agreement for the delivery of general building works projects generally ranging from 50 000 to 500 000 GBP in individual contract value. The agreement may also be used to award contracts both below and above this value range with no stated cap in regards of maximum or minimum individual contract values. The framework agreement is also available for members of the Portsmouth Regional Procurement Partnership (PRPP) plus East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) to let call off contracts from where appropriate. As such, the framework will be used to let call off contracts for works on a variety of different building types. The PRPP is made up of the following members: — Portsmouth City Council; — Havant Borough Council; — Fareham Borough Council; — Gosport Borough Council; — University of Portsmouth; — NHS South of England Procurement Services (SoEPS) (and its successors in title).
