EA Tender 70169 The Education Authority invites tenders for Banking Services for the period 1.4.2017 to 31.3.2020 (with an option for 2 12-month extensions). The objective of this tender is to appoint a bank capable of providing all the banking services required by the EA for the period of the contract. EA is responsible for the funding of most publicly funded schools in Northern Ireland and carries out administrative functions on behalf of the majority of these schools, including payment of non-teaching staff and payment of invoices. EA has an annual budget in the region of 1 500 000 000 GBP. This budget includes funding delegated to schools under the Local Management of Schools (LMS) arrangement and the funding for other services such as Special Education, maintenance, school catering, provision of school transport, and curriculum support to schools.
