The flexible supply of electricity and natural gas

Tender description

Vertas Group Limited (“Vertas”), acting as an agent for Suffolk County Council (as a fully owned subsidiary of Suffolk County Council) is inviting bids from prospective suppliers for the provision of electricity and natural gas to the Vertas energy customer portfolio. This tender process is expected to result in a framework comprising of 2 lots. Lot 1 for the supply of electricity and lot 2 for the supply of gas. The tender is being run as an ACCELERATED OPEN procedure, under the new EU Public Procurement Directive 2015. Business Advisory Service Limited (“BAS”) have been contracted to support Vertas in support and management of the delivery of this framework and as such will form part of the tender evaluating team. The framework is for the supply of electricity and natural gas to the existing portfolio of Vertas group Limited customers made up of Councils, School trusts, public service buildings and other public sector establishments. This framework may also be used by other public sector organisations and / or groups or other bodies who are authorised to procure energy on behalf of those same public sector bodies.
