Tender description

This opportunity is for West and Mid-Kent Dry Recyclable Processing within the Growth, Environment and Transport Directorate. Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Providers who are interested in providing a cost effective solution for the following service: The processing and sale of Dry Recyclate arising from Kent household kerbside (KS) collections. Materials will be delivered by the Authority through other contract arrangements. The constituent materials within Dry Recyclate are detailed in the ITT. The contract is anticipated to commence upon 4.7.2016 and will continue for a period of 24 months (with an option to extend for a period of 12 months and a 2nd option to extend for a period of 12 months for a total period of 24 months) unless terminated in accordance with the Conditions of Contract on the Kent Business Portal. Quantity of Scope The indicative tonnages for each Lot may vary over the life of the Contract and, therefore do not form any basis of quantity guarantee. Lot 1 — Dry Recyclate with co-mingled glass — 42 032 tonnes Lot 2 — Dry Recyclate with no glass — 19 933 tonnes.
