Neighbourhood Planning in Deprived Areas

Tender description

This notice is being placed to inform the market that this contract is being let to Renaisi by Single Tender Action. The same project was delivered by Renaisi in 2015/6 and it is the Department for Communities and Local Government’s intention to re-let it in 2016/7 on the same basis as last year. The contract was let after a full and open procurement in October 2015. The project was successfully delivered by Renaisi using their network of Big Local Reps (BLRs). Each BLR has in-depth knowledge of the local community and already has a relationship of trust with local community organisations and residents. This pre-existing relationship was critical to the success of the Neighbourhood Planning in Deprived Areas project. In order to build on the success of last year and to maximise effectiveness and efficiency, Renaisi will use the same methodology and training materials produced for the project in 2015/6. The Department does not consider that the market has changed significantly since the last procurement in October 2015, therefore to ensure momentum is mantained DCLG will re-award the contract to Renaisi to run the project again in 2016/7.
