Tender description

The Service Provider is expected to provide services which will enable the specific client groups to have their homes adapted, repaired or maintained to promote independence and to remain within their own communities. The Service Provider is expected to provide services which will enable the specific client groups to have their homes adapted, repaired or maintained to promote independence and to remain within their own communities. The Council currently commissions through 2 Service Providers, Care and Repair and Small Repair Services to residents of Perth and Kinross who: — Own their own home or are tenants within the private rented market; and — Are over the age of 60; — Have a disability or long term ill health; or — Have been identified as at risk and vulnerable. To repair, maintain or adapt their home in order to access standard amenities to promote independence within the community. The Care and Repair Service forms part of the Scheme of Assistance designed by the Council under section 72 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006. Responses are sought only from bidders capable of providing a solution meeting the requirements of the Council outlined in this ITT. Please refer to the Specification of Requirements for full details.
