Tender description

An Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) system will be used in combination with other Clean-room facilities for the patterning of various materials including silicon-on-insulator wafers and superconducting metallic films. The EBL system will be located in the laboratories of the School of Physics and become a key facility for the rapid prototyping of novel designs of components for photonic integrated circuits and detector systems. The system will have an anticipated resolution of 10 nm and accept up to 4 inch wafers.
