Tender description

We wish to procure a system for the Diagnostics Directorate within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to support business planning and demand management initiatives, based on historical clinical data held within our Radiology Information System (RIS) and if required in future, data stored within the national Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). It is our intention to hold a supplier open day on Monday 15.8.2016 (9:00 — 12:00) at the Laboratory Medicine building, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, UK. Further information is provided in the questionnaire document attached to this notice. We wish to procure a system for the Diagnostics Directorate within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to support business planning and demand management initiatives, based on historical clinical data held within our Radiology Information System (RIS) and if required in future, data stored within the national Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). We seek a system that will be able to interrogate both ‘hard’ data and also analyse the meta data stored within the RIS and PACS systems such as textual reports detailing the clinical interpretation of images. The system must be able to produce reliable and meaningful that data that could be used to better manage current operations and demand but also be used to plan demand management initiatives to better manage and respond to future demands.
