Tender description

Framework for the provision of C1 driver training courses for paramedic students and other ambulance staff as required. DVSA accredited C1 Driver Trainers to conduct C1 courses for WMAS personal i.e. student Paramedics, Technicians. Courses and test centre(s) must be located within the West Midlands health economy region, to allow adequate coverage to the West Midlands Ambulance Service region which covers: Staffordshire, Coventry, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Birmingham and Black Country. All practical training will be undertaken at the awarded company site(s) Suppliers must have access to sufficient DVSA test centres within the West Midlands health economy region, and will be required to explain how the will manage the volume of DVSA theory test required. Framework with a maximum of 3 suppliers. There will be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place award on the framework which will be awarded to the 3 suppliers scoring the highest points overall in disseminating order. Award of work on the framework will be to the supplier in 1st place, if the supplier in 1st place is not able to provide the required provision at the time the need is required then that allocation of work will be passed to the 2nd place supplier, if the 2nd place supplier is not able to fulfil that allocation of work at the time the requirement will be passed on to the supplier in 3rd place.
