Design and Build 24 Homes at the Hawthorns Site, Swindon

Tender description

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to Design and Build 24 homes in part of the Hawthorns site, Swindon. Project Description The project is to design and build 22 one bedroom homes, of which 4 will provide sufficient space for a carer, and 2 three bedroom homes. Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents. Contract Period The contract will be for a period of 11 months commencing October 2016. The relevant tender documents are included within this project webpage as attachments. Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than Tuesday, 13 September 2016, 12.00GMT by hardcopy in accordance with the tender return address label included in the ITT documentation. As this site is in the public domain, site visits do not need to be accompanied. If you require any clarifications on the tender documents please submit these in writing by e-mail, including the project name clearly in the e-mail title, to Eve Wigmore at ewigmore@swindon.gov.uk by Monday, 29 August 2016, 1200hrs GMT. The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor’s responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.
