Contract for Tees Valley Business Compass Growth

Tender description

Funding is being sought from the 2014 to 2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme to support the delivery of the Service in Tees Valley based on an overall budget for delivery of the Service (excluding grants to companies but including management of the fund) of £3,286,000 and a delivery period running from 1/1/17 to 31/12/19. In the event that the delivery period is foreshortened to run from 1/1/17 to 31/12/18, it is envisaged that the service would proceed, the contract sum would reduce to a minimum of £2,283,573 and outputs, outcomes and required matched funding would reduce accordingly. Tees Valley Combined Authority is desirous of increasing the scale and scope of the grant Fund in the future and therefore reserves the right to add up to a further £30m to it, and, subject to the agreement of both parties, to extend the Fund management element of the project to accommodate this. However, bidders are not required to take account of this in making their responses and will be under no obligation to manage any additional funding which may become available.
