Tender description

Northern Powergrid Ltd has an immediate requirement for 2 x 132kV Hybrid bays of switchgear at Lynemouth Power Station situated in the North East of England at Lynemouth Power Station. The switchgear is replacing aged oil-filled circuit breakers and AIS dis-connectors/earth switches. The scope covers the design, engineering, manufacture, assembly, inspection and testing before dispatch, supply, transportation, delivery at given destination, unloading and storage at site, erection, testing and pre-commissioning of integrated multifunctional ‘Hybrid’ modules having combination of HV switch-gears along with clamp connectors and accessories, tools, tackles, support structure, anchoring bolts, SF6 gas for first filling etc. required for full functionality of the combined unit as per general technical parameters given in the standard NPG technical specifications NPS/003/007 and NPS/003/008.
