Tender description

The Invitation to Tender covers the services necessary to provide a secure off-site record storage facility to Stockport Council, with a secure transport and call back process and scanning facilities. The successful tender will offer the highest level of environmental, physical and intellectual protection Stockport Council expects for its records. Please Note: This is a joint tender between Stockport and Rochdale Council's whereby each Council shall award their own individual contracts to the winning bidder. It should be noted that at this stage only Stockport Council is guaranteed, however Rochdale Council is participating and may make an award decision on the results of this tender exercise nearer the time of expiry of their current arrangement in March 2017 or earlier if required. A value for money exercise will be carried out by Rochdale Council before a final decision is made.
