Tender description

APPEL, the Affiliation for Pharmacy Practice Experiential Learning, on behalf of the School of Pharmacy of UCC, the School of Pharmacy of RCSI, and the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences of TCD, is seeking Suppliers interested in discussing solutions to APPEL's IT requirements. APPEL is seeking to develop an IT system that will help it manage common experiential placements for students in the Master of Pharmacy degree programmes of the 3 institutions. The desired IT system has 2 primary requirements: 1. Automating (to the largest extent practical) the experiential placement assigning and matching processes; 2. Providing online training and communications to pharmacists who are supervising students. At a high level, APPEL believes that a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (for item No 1), operating within a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) (for item No 2) will provide the best overall solution. APPEL Intends to submit a public Invitation to Tender when it has sufficiently clarified solution details.
