Tender description

The Education Procurement Service (EPS) on behalf of University College Dublin (UCD) (the ‘Contracting Authority’) invites tenders (‘Tenders’) to this request for tenders (‘RFT’) from economic operators (‘Tenderers’) for the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Commissioning of 2 Quadrupole ICPMS instruments and Jet interface (3 Lots) for University College Dublin. All 3 lots will be installed at the National Centre for Isotope Geochemistry, UCD School of Earth Sciences, University College Dublin. The intention is that Lot 2 will be coupled (a) with an excimer laser-ablation system; and (b) with a Neptune MC-ICPMS for simultaneous analysis of elemental concentrations and isotope ratios. Lot 1: Quadrupole ICPMS to be used primarily for solution work. Lot 2, a Quadrupole ICPMS to be used in laser ablation mode. Lot 3, an essential upgrade for the existing Neptune system including installation of a Jet interface.
