Tender description

Summary of the work Catering require a simple Customer Satisfaction Survey which they could house by the milk stations / tills in their 4 catering outlets. These would show one question only and would be answered by pressing on either the happy/OK or the sad emoji. Analytics and separate question per tablet are required Expected Contract Length less than 1 month Latest start date 1st September - (application required for 1st October) Budget Range £3000 Why the Work is Being Done Catering would like a very simple Customer Satisfaction Survey which they could house by the milk stations / tills in their catering outlets. These survey would show one question only and would be answered by pressing the screen on either the happy/OK or the sad emoji. Catering would like a central database where they could adjust the questions remotely for each of the 4 catering outlets and record the analytics related to each question against location and the time the question has been showing. These analytics need to be exported as a useable and friendly report. Problem to Be Solved currently there isn't a feedback forum for staff or students using the catering facility and therefor the catering department do not know if change is necessary Who Are the Users as a staff/ student, I need to let the catering management team know my feelings about the food, staff, environment, so that they can understand I like it or that I have problems with someting Work Already Done we have a n example of the how the screen will look, although the branding needs to change to catering branding Existing Team working with a Liverpool John Moores Project manager, who will liaise with anyone in LJMU ITS department if required Current Phase Beta Skills & Experience • web and app experience • database experience Work Location Supplier does not need to work onsite Working Arrangments Supplier works from own company and supplies code remotely, we will need to be in touch with the supplier wither via phone or web tools No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 6 Proposal Criteria • Technical solution • Approach and methodology • How the approach or solution meets user needs • Estimated timeframes for the work • How they’ve identified risks and dependencies and offered approaches to manage them Cultural Fit Criteria • Work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers • Transparent and collaborative when making decisions • Have a no-blame culture and encourage people to learn from their mistakes Payment Approach Fixed price Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 50% Cultural fit 20% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers 1. The survey will presumably be completed on a mobile device (tablet) by the POS. Is the cost of tablets (and stand /security) included in the estimated price range? Are there any restrictions on the model of tablet used? Also reporting on the survey - we expect that l to be part of the delivery but do you already have MIS systems, what integration is desired? we will purchase the devices separately and you do not need to include them in your quote. We will purchase either iOS or android devices depending on the requirement, if the chosed supplier determines an app is the best way, then I would prefer to use an android device, so we don't have to go through the istore publishing issues 2. Are the tablets already owned by the University? Is there WiFi in the locations they will sit? we will purchase the tablets and all will be in wifi zones 3. Also reporting on the survey - we expect that l to be part of the delivery but do you already have MIS systems, what integration is desired? we expect the development to be completely self contained and therefore needs to have its own mini CMS, no integration will be required
