Tender description

The development of 2 Advance Technology Units for IDA Ireland, designed to provide high-quality production and office accommodation, which will accommodate future manufacturing/ technological businesses. These 2 projects will be bundled together and tendered as 1 contract. The successful contractor will be required to construct both developments concurrently. The projects are identified on 2 separate sites with details as follows: Site 1 is located at Castlebar Business and Technology Park, Co Mayo with an approximate gross floor area of 2 900 m2. Planning Ref TBC. Site 2 is located at Sligo Business and Technology Park, Finisklin, Sligo, with an approximate gross floor area of 2 900 m2. Planning Ref TBC. General description of the proposal — The construction and completion of 2 Advance Technology Buildings, including rc foundations and ground floor slab, block-work and rc rising walls, steelwork frame, composite metal cladding, rc and block-work walls and partitions, rc floors and pc stairs, glazing and doors, finishings, M+E installations, lifts, associated site-works and campus roads. The units will be completed to shell and core level in the open production areas, and fully fitted out in the office areas, and have been designed to achieve LEED registered Standard. It is intended that the projects will be tendered individually to 1 short list of Contractors drawn from this submission.
