Tender description
Essex County Council (ECC) organises and manages a number of driver/rider offender retraining courses on behalf of Essex Police National Driver Offender Re-training — (NDORS): — National Speed Awareness (NSAC); — National Driver Alertness (NDAC); — National Speed Awareness (20 mph); — What's Driving Us (WDU); — Driving for Change (D4C); — Rider Intervention and Developing Experience (RIDE); — Any future retraining courses introduced by NDORS. These courses are offered as an alternative to prosecution in certain circumstances and clients can book on the relevant course either by phone or online. ECC wishes to procure a hosted online booking service which is managed, secure and a resilient system, which enables continuity of service to clients in Essex. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further period of up to 12 months. ECC wishes to procure a hosted, managed, secure and resilient system, which enables continuity of service to clients in Essex. Booking Courses The system must allow effective booking of all NDORS courses, The system must process online payments (from clients or by staff arranging bookings by telephone) in real time by providing a link to a secure online payment site, which can accept all types of credit and debit card transactions. The secure online payment site can be direct or via a link to an independent booking system, which must provide instant confirmation. The system must record that the payment has been successful and notify the NDORS system. The system must allow clients to view course availability and book a course on their preferred date (within critical dates) and venue as well as paying for the course at the same time.
