Allsopps Lane Regeneration – Feasibility Study

Tender description

Charnwood Borough Council is seeking to appoint experienced consultants to prepare a proposal for the redevelopment of the existing Allsopps Lane recreation area as a community park. The Allsopps Lane site is situated on the east of Loughborough off Little Moor Lane. The land is owned by the council, and comprises three distinct areas: 1. Closed Landfill site to the east bordering the railway and civic amenity tip 2. An area of grazing land in the centre 3. Small holdings to the west bordering the canal. It has long been an aspiration of the council to regenerate all or part of this land to create a publicly assessable accessible open space. The last date to request documents to participate in this tendering process is the 12th August 2016.
