The Provision of Swimwear and Equipment for Re-Sale within Knowsley Leisure Centres

Knowsley MBC is going to market in order to implement a 2 year contract with the option to extend for two further 1 year periods. The contract will encompass the following leisure facilities: ? Halewood Leisure Centre ? Kirkby Leisure Centre ? Stockbridge Village Neighbourhood Centre ? Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park It is the Councils aim to achieve the following objectives through this Request for Quotation: ? Continue to display and sell a wide range of high quality swimwear products to Leisure Centre customers and generate a significant revenue stream for the Leisure Centres via reselling the goods purchased from the appointed supplier at a wholesale cost. ? The swimwear and swimming equipment range available will be suitable for a wide range of swimmers from casual users to elite users. ? Continue to sell swimwear products via racking, shelving, signage, and decoration located in the reception area?s in all Leisure Centres. This is to be provided and maintained by the successful bidder at no cost to the Council. ? Increase sales through appropriate advertising and promotional events in and around the leisure centres that either promote or introduce the general public to swimming activities. ? Maintain appropriate levels of stock at all Leisure Centres. ? Be able to offer Leisure Centre customers innovative new ranges and products as they become available. The contract will start on the 1st March 2016 and will ultimately expire on the 28th February 2018 with a 1 year additional option available.
