Sussex Tier 3 Weight Management Service

Tender description

Commissioners across a number of CCG areas including Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex, Brighton and Hove, Coastal West Sussex, High Weald, Lewes Havens, Hastings and Rother and Eastbourne, Hailsham and Seaford are all considering the procurement or re-procurement of Tier 3 Weight Management for service commencement in April 2017. As part of the initial planning for this the CCGs are seeking views and comments on the service which we are seeking through a number of set questions below. We expect you will find some questions more relevant to you and easier to respond to than others at the moment. Please try to respond to as many as you can as your views are valuable whether or not you have come across all of the aspects covered. We have included a potential DRAFT service specification for reference, which is based on current service available across West Sussex. The final specification(s) will be available for the procurement exercise and may have slight differences in individual CCG areas. The CCGs are planning a joint CLINICAL Stakeholder event on Thursday 25th February 2016 at 14:00, location TBC. If you wish to attend please let Sarah Butler know on sarah.butler10@nhs.net. This is a process designed to help the Commissioners form a view of the best way to deliver a Tier 3 weight management service and is not the beginning of a tender exercise. Further tender advertisements will be issued at the appropriate time as/if required. What you respond at this point will not have a bearing on any future tender bids you may wish to submit at a later time. You will not be disadvantaged if you choose not to respond to this RFI but it will be helpful to understand your views at this early stage, so you are encouraged to respond as fully as you can.
