Tender description

This is a new requirement for the purchase of a dredger barge and a tug boat. The dredger is a 12m steel barge which has a boom crane with various attachments that allow debris to be removed from watercourses. It also has hydraulically operated legs which can be lowered to give extra stability when lifting. The hydraulics are powered by a diesel engine but the vessel is not powered. The tug boat is designed to power the dredger barge via a hydraulic latching device. They essentially become 1 vessel when attached. The tug is powered by a diesel engine which has been specified for its physical size and power output.
