Tender description

Essex County Council currently places around 1 850 vulnerable adults into day services each year as part of a support package to meet their eligible needs. At present services are provided through a mixture of block and spot contract arrangements, c 19 000 000 GBP p/a and supplied by c 70 providers. Essex County Council is looking to work alongside providers to develop a new Day Services offer for both Older People and Adults with Disabilities Services. The new offer will be a blended mix to meet individual needs, including enabling progression and skills development where appropriate.
