Tender description

This Relates to a Prior Information Notice. This is not at this stage a Contract Opportunity. Somerset County Council (SCC) is seeking interest from organisations that would like to provide Care and Support at Home for Adults in Somerset. The service will include: — Care and Support at Home (including a carer response service and night service) — Short Term Intensive Reablement — Integrated Care and Support in 2 Extra Care Housing Schemes — Care and Support at Home and incidental care in 18 Extra Care Housing Schemes. SCC is intending to run a procurement process in early 2016. It is envisaged that this contract will be divided into LOTs — details will be given in the OJEU Contract Notice. A Provider Involvement Meeting will be held at County Hall in Taunton, TA1 4DY on Wednesday 27.1.2016 from 12:30 to 14:00 — see details below in ‘Additional Information’ section.
