GB-Braintree: Town Centre Signage Design

Tender description

Braintree District Council (BDC / the Council / the Employer) wants to update and improve the effectiveness of wayfinding signage in three of the districts’ town centres; Braintree, Witham and Halstead in order to drive a footfall increase and improve navigation around the town centres. Braintree District Council is using this tender exercise to commission wayfinding experts to appraise the current wayfinding signage and produce plans showing what signs ‘need to say’, where they need to be located and which direction they need to point to be more effective than they are currently. BDC requires the new system of signs to be capable of increasing footfall in key locations around the towns, and enable visitors and residents to better find their way around.
