Tender description

The Contracting Authority is looking to appoint a single Economic Operator (Contractor) for the provision of Fire Alarm Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance across approximately 160 PSNI sites throughout Northern Ireland utilising an NEC3 Term Service Contract. The Economic Operator will be responsible for the maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839-1:2013. Current systems include L1 to L3 categories and includes approximately 50 highly sensitive aspirating smoke detection systems. The Economic Operator will also be responsible for the maintenance of sprinkler systems at 3 sites in accordance with BS EN 12845. The service shall be made available 24 hours per day and 365 days per year (including all weekends and holiday periods). The Contract will require working in a high security environment.
