Water mains

Tender description

The detailed design, construction and commissioning of approximately 32km of large diameter twin water mains and approximately 24 km of large diameter water mains in the West Cumbria region. This tender process relates to both the Water Main and the Raw Water Aqueduct (together the Works). Interested economic operators should note that the Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) will require prices for the Water Main only, the Raw Water Aqueduct only and for the Works (i.e. a combined price for both the Water Main and Raw Water Aqueduct). All economic operators on the tender list must therefore be capable of delivering the whole of the Works. An economic operator that is only able to deliver either the Water Main or the Raw Water Aqueduct will not proceed to the tender list.
