Virtualisation Software and Reseller Services

Tender description

Analysis by the OGP indicates that the requirements of PSBs for Virtualization software and Associated Reseller Services arise in the following instances: a) PSBs who have existing VMware or Citrix x86 virtualised server environments and/or desktop virtualised environments and who require additional OSM specific (i.e. branded) licences and/or services where such PSBs wish to expand all or part of their existing estates, upgrade existing software and/or to avail of support services for existing estates; b) PSBs who have existing virtualised server environments and/or desktop virtualised environments and who wish to replace all or part of their existing environment with new technology; c) PSBs who do not have existing virtualised server environments and/or desktop virtualised environments and who wish to procure such software and/or associated services for the first time; d) Where there is no OSM specific lot for their existing estate in Lots 1-2. Tenderers should note that Lots 1 and 2 of this RFT will be used by PSBs who wish to meet the requirements set out above at a) Lot 3 of this RFT will be used to meet PSB requirements as set out above at b), c) and d).
