Tender description

BIS is about to regulate a new reporting requirement on large firms, giving them a “Duty To Report” on their payment practices to SME suppliers. These reports will require large companies to make a quantitative assessment of the time it takes them to pay suppliers, and a qualitative summary of their payment and dispute procedures. The research should help monitise the estimated cost and identify which large companies would be affected e.g. mostly, large companies in supply chains? We would need to sample a variety of large firms by size and sector, possibly up to around 50 firms in total
