Tender description

1) Provision of additional ‘Special to Type’ emulated test sets for use within the extant C-130J MPTT AIM teaching aid located at RAF Brize Norton. 2) Provision of Instructor/Operator Manuals associated with each of the emulated test sets. 3) Receipt of a ‘Costed Option’ for an additional four (4) AIM training devices. 4) Receipt of a ‘Costed Option’ for a training package to enable the ‘End User’ to update the AIM ‘Hotspots’ and ‘Photographs’ as and when required. The C-130J Project Team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to amend Contract HTPT2B/1206 with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. The amendment covers the procurement of additional ‘Special to Type’ emulated test sets for use within the C-130J Maintenance Part Task Trainer (MPTT) Aircraft Interface Monitor (AIM) Synthetic Training Capability, as well as the Instructor/Operator Manuals associated with each of the emulated test sets. The amendment also includes an option for four additional AIM training devices and a training package to enable the ‘End User’ to update the AIM ‘Hotspots’ and ‘Photographs’.
