University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (‘The Trust ’) is seeking, without prejudice, market engagement in advance of issuing a Contract Notice for procurement of a patient focused and fully integrated Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. It is expected this EPR system will: — Provide a patient-focused and fully integrated electronic citizen record that is accessible within the Trust and across the local health and care community to clinicians, patients, carers and citizens, whatever the setting or context. — Deliver world class care by enabling innovative development of services that will cross traditional boundaries. — Optimise clinicians' and care workers' ways of working by providing evidence derived from sophisticated informatics. — Empower patients to use their own clinical information to manage their health and well-being and make informed choices. This procurement represents a unique opportunity for the right provider to develop clinically driven partnerships with a highly innovative and forward looking Trust and with the local health and care community to implement a world class EPR system using leading edge technology.
