Support and Maintenance of current E-Prescribing System already in place. Additional integral E-Scheduling System functionality to be licensed, implemented and further supported and maintained. The software currently in use for the Prescribing, Dispensing and Administration of chemotherapy links with the VCC's PAS and Canisc, which is a National Solution delivered by NWIS. The System receives updates from Canisc and from the LIMS system. It also exports treatment summary information into Canisc via an electronic interface. VCC schedule Chemotherapy and Supportive Care appointments for VCC and all of the Outreach locations. VCC currently use an in-house system which is accessed via Cansic, to manage the chemotherapy appointment referrals. The PAS is used to schedule the Chemotherapy and Supportive Care appointments. PAS, Canisc and LIMS are all integrated and compatible with the current System supplied by CIS Oncology. VCC wishes to replace the current arrangements described with the CIS Oncology E-Scheduling which is already available and compatible with the VCC systems; however they are not currently licensed by VCC.
