Tender description

Commercial Services Kent Ltd (a wholly owned business of Kent County Council) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified specialist providers to manage a national framework on its behalf for the supply of vehicles on a short term or daily rental basis. Potential providers must have a proven track record of both running OJEU tender processes, including advising on and managing mini competitions through a compliant electronic portal for the full range of vehicle types listed below, and of managing, administering and marketing large national public sector vehicle related frameworks and have proven relationships with specialist vehicle lease providers and rental providers. The vehicles concerned will include Cars, LCVS, Medium Commercials, Welfare Buses, Sweepers, Plant, RCVs and HGVs. Marketing of the contracts concerned would be required to achieve maximum penetration across the UK public sector and potential providers would need to have existing relationships of a similar nature with District, Shire, Metropolitan and Unitary Local Authorities in England, Scotland and Wales, Local Authority procurement consortia, NHS Trusts, Fire Authorities, Registered Housing providers and other public sector organisations. The likely duration of the procurement, management, administration and marketing contract would be up to 4 years.
