Tender description

Provision of a garden assistance scheme to subscribed council tenants and non-council residents. Previous participation was approximately 6 948 applicants (including approximately 1 210 non council residents). These figures are being provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed for the service provision in this procurement. The service will include 10 grass cuts, 3 hedge cuts, 2 weed kills and edges being formed on 2 occasions per year. South area covering towns of Bellshill, Motherwell, Shotts, Viewpark and Wishaw including all surrounding villages. Current figures show approximately 3 393 gardens consisting of 2 949 council gardens and 444 non council gardens. These figures are being provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed for the service provision in this procurement. North Area covering towns of Airdrie, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Moodiesburn including all surrounding villages. Current figures show approximately 3 555 gardens consisting of 2 789 council gardens and 766 non council gardens.
