High Wycombe Town Centre Masterplan (HWTCMP) and Southern Quadrant Transport Strategy (SQTS) Detailed Design

Tender description

Buckinghamshire County Council sought to appoint a design consultant to undertake the detailed design and contract management function on the High Wycombe Town Centre Master Plan (HWTCMP) and Southern Quadrant Transport Strategy (SQTS) for the following schemes. This scope of the commission includes the following, to be referred to as CODAQ: • Cressex Road/Cressex Link Road Junction reconfiguration and Cressex cycling scheme • Oxford Road Roundabout/A40 including Bridge Street, Bellfield Road and Archway • Dovecot Gyratory reconfiguration • Abbey Way gyratory reconfiguration • Queen Victoria Road/Crendon Street/High Street/Easton Street Junction This scheme is linked to a future intention to remake the river. Therefore the design consultant will also look to undertake the detailed design for the provision of a deculverted section of the River Wye from Westbourne Street through to Oxford Road Roundabout.
