Tender description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition. The Environmental Protection Agency intends to invite submissions from companies /organisations with expertise and capability relating to the characterisation of municipal waste. This would involve the establishment of a single-operator Framework with a duration of 3 years. The last national municipal waste characterisation project tendered for by the EPA was in 2008: http://www.epa.ie/pubs/reports/waste/wastecharacterisation/ Please note that while the new Framework will be similar in scope, the methodology to be employed may differ, and will be defined when the Request for tender issues in due course. This process is a statement of potential contracts during the next 12 months but is not a commitment to purchase.
