Tender description

This notice invites tenders for internet transit capacity for Lebanon as part of the EUMEDCONNECT3 research and education networking project which is co-funded by the European Commission to connect the research and academic communities in Eastern Mediterranean countries. In undertaking this work GÉANT is partnered by regional R&E networking organisation ASREN and the American University of Beirut (AUB). This call for tender is to provide internet transit (‘upstream’) service for an initial one year term and potentially extendable up to 3 years to exchange internet traffic between AUB in Beirut with the GEANT R&E community and the global internet. AUB's address will be provided in the tender documentation. The services will be used for non-commercial purposes only. Interested providers should register on GÉANT's eProcurement portal (www.geant.procurement.net) and use this portal to obtain the full tender documentation and submit their responses.
