Merseytravel plan to publish all emergency subsidised bus service tenders on The Chest as of late August 2016. We have published this sample tender for DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY to enable bus operators to view what our live emergency tenders will look like and to raise any questions and queries with regard to using The Chest to submit for future bus service contracts. Once Merseytravel start publishing on The Chest for these contracts we will no longer accept tenders via e-mail so please use this opportunity to familiarise yourselves with our online template. There is a guidance document available on the template, please read this prior to submitting any bids. The Invitation to Tender is an online template which will store your responses, including your responses to this demonstration, to be used for any future submissions you may make to Merseytravel. Once saved, your answers will only need to be confirmed, or they can be amended, next time you are preparing your response to one of our tenders. We hope that by using this demonstration as an opportunity to record your company information it will help operators to save time when responding to future emergency Invitations to Tender.
