Solent LEP, via it's accountable body Portsmouth City Council, is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers to tender for this project. The scope of which will comprise of but may not be limited to the production of an Interim Outline Business Case for Phase 1 of Solent Metro, which runs from Southampton Waterfront to Southampton Airport. Solent Metro is a long-term phased programme to develop an integrated public transport system that will transform productivity and wealth creation in the Solent over the next 30 years. The initial contract period will be for 9 weeks subject to performance and agreement of all parties.
