Tender description

North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (NEE CCG) wishes to establish a contract for the provision of Primary Enhanced Services. Provision of Primary Enhanced services to the population of NEE CCG has historically been directly with general practice for the provision of these services. This has created a complex and disparate system of care that has resulted in unnecessary inequities and inconsistencies for patients. With the aging population, demand for these services, within the community and therefore easily accessible is continuing to grow, which requires a consistent and accessible service for the NEE population. These enhanced services include; Minor Injuries provision, post-operative wound care Services, Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) monitoring and treatment and Anti-coagulation monitoring services.
