Tender description

The three primary schools; DFES No 3396 St Richards RC Primary School Atherton; DFES No 3357 Standish St. Wilfrid’s CE Primary and DFES No 3397 Sacred Heart RC Primary Hindsford, otherwise known as (the Partnership) are intending to establish a new catering contract to commence in September 2016. The proposed contract will be for the delivery of a hot lunchtime meal service for the 3 primary schools located within the Wigan area: Specific objectives include the provision of a high quality school meals service with continuous improvements to the users which will be achieved by – a. Providing high quality meals throughout the contract term. b. Providing a healthy menu that meets all relevant standards. c. Providing a menu that caters for the ethnic mix of the school. d. Providing ongoing communications between the contractors and the Principal (s) and/or school Admin Officers/Finance staff. e.
