Commercial Road Improvements 2016/17

Tender description

Portsmouth City Council is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced principle contractors to tender for this project. The scope of which will comprise of but may not be limited to delivering street enhancement works to the pedestrianised area of Commercial Road in central Portsmouth, including; 1. Sculptures & Lighting Removals Works 2. Planters Removals/Relocation Works 3. Seating and Cycle Stand Works 4. Tree Pit Construction 5. North and South End Paving Works 6. Tree and Shrub Planting Works The works will be split into two phases with all works being required for completion no later than 31st March 2017; Phase 1 - 5th September 2016 - 24th October 2016, and Phase 2 - 9th January 2017 - 31st March 2017 A 52 week defects period will take effect from the completion date of hard landscape works and 104 weeks from completion of soft landscape.
