Tender description

The managed service PO will report to the Programme Manager: Infrastructure, Networks & Interventions in the Post-Award and Evaluation team. The Programme Manager oversees and ensures delivery of all aspects of Post-Award management, monitoring and evaluation of active HRB Networks (CTNs, ICORG, TMRN, CRCI, IPPOSI. This portfolio will be expanding to include the post-award management, monitoring and evaluation of a number of other Centres/Infrastructure (three CRFs, and CICER) during 2016/2017. Management activities include: - Contract Variations process - Periodic and Annual reporting including on-site and off-site meetings with PIs/research teams - Award Payments - Adherence to FOI, Archiving and RSF input to Audit Evaluation and monitoring activities include; - Interim Review Translational Award in Q4 2016 - Renewal review of the TMRN and CRCI in 2017 - Preparation for Interim Review CTNs (X4) in 2018 - Preparation for ICORG renewal reviews in 2018. - Preparation for IPPOSI & MRCG interim reviews in 2018 - Renewal review of the CRFs (X3) in 2017 in collaboration with pre-award - Contribution to the development and implementation of the HRB Evaluation Strategy - Commissioning of a review of the clinical research environment in Ireland GEMS/other Evaluation activities associated with this portfolio include: - Development of Post Award functionality of GEMS (to include variations and annual reporting) - Work with a Business Analyst in Q3 2016 to identify and roll out an Evaluation Metrics collection solution to replace the existing, inefficient systems (Outcomes Tracker and SurveyMonkey) The Programme Manager: Infrastructure, Networks & Interventions is also responsible for the design, development, launch, peer review/panel meeting, board approval, contract negotiation and ultimately management of a new Definitive Interventions and Feasibility Award (DIFA.) Final funding decision is planned for February 2017
