System for recording attendance

CCCU is seeking to purchase a Student Attendance Monitoring system capable of delivering in the Higher Education (HE) market. The solution will have to link to the University's timetabling software and is therefore not a straightforward access control system. The appointed provider will have experience in the HE sector and will be able to work with our project team to implement a solution that will support the University in automating the recording of attendance, streamlining the processes for administrators and providing clear information about the student, module, programme, school, faculty and University attendance levels. The system will need to be flexible in handling different attendance thresholds, so that alerts/notifications and appropriate reports can be produced.
